yep. after reading the journal article all the clues were there that should have told you to go outside the program. they talked about how the athletes were not there anymore, how the kids were not excited to be playing anymore and how the team needed discipline.
So what do we do we keep everything as is. Hoggard has been there for nine years. he could have done all that by now.
We are turning into Scotland.

I dunno, we'll have to wait and see if Hoggard brings something new to the table now that he's HC or if he keeps doing the same ol thing. Personally, as long as the same ol thing brings us 12 or 13 wins a year, it's hard to complain.

I see where you are coming from as well. Coach Hoggard will have his hands full. He may hit the speed bumps that coach Lee is having in baseball. First year coaches and both will have the toughest nonconference schedules that either sport has had in a while.
Not to mention, the new MSEC layout has us running into Jack Britt right off the bat. He's going to have a lot to live up to and very little time to get ready for it. It'll be August before you know it.

folks are casting stones before he's even started. Give the man a chance.

he is showing more energy, somthing we needed, by getting out into the jr highs.
if he can bring the determination back to the weight room and the excietment in the school halls that we once had he will be well on his way. we will see.

I don't think anyone is casting stones yet, they are just skeptical because a lot of what the Raiders have been doing was the result of Coach Hoggard. I guess the concern is that if he was responsible for how the Raiders played before, why should there be any changes.
IMO, the Raiders have played great during the Emory era. I admit, I don't really like that style of football, but those who are saying Emory didn't get the job done are just fooling themselves. 77-7 in six years is far from failure. Emory did a great job and I expect Hoggard to do just as well.

That's what I mean. People are being skeptical before the man has even done anything. If you hired a gardner to grow some grass in your yard, you don't suspect he can't do the job if grass doesn't appear just after the seeds go down. You have to give him time. Same thing here. People seem to be expecting improvements already and no games have even been played yet. Don't judge him until August or September.

If your gardner made your lawn look great but all you really wanted was 1 single rose that he couldn't grow for the life of him would you hire his helper to grow it?
By the way, is there anyone in Richmond County that can grow grass? That field is a shame.
